Fi

Name: Fi
Zelda Title(s): Skyward Sword, Hyrule Warriors
Affiliation: Hero
Role: Partner
Alternate Names: Mistress Fi, Spirit of the Sword
Location: The Sky, Hyrule
Race: Sword Spirit
Occupation: Assistant to the Hero
Weapon(s): Abilities

The living consciousness of the Master Sword..
Fi is the humanoid embodiment of the spirit of the ancient blade of the Hero.
She appeared to the earliest version of Link, revealing herself as the spirit of the sword he was to wield to vanquish evil. She traveled with him, granting him valuable information and assistance to ensure he succeeded in his journey. She serves as the opposite of Ghirahim, who is the spirit of Demise's blade, Fi herself taking on a feminine appearance, whereas Ghirahim appears masculine.

She has since lived within the Master Sword, never revealing herself again to any of the heroes after the one found in Skyward Sword, but most assuredly lent him all the power she had to help him achieve his goal. Fi has returned due to the intensified return of Ganondorf and, since she is the sword itself, accompanied Link and Zelda as they escaped to the modern world.
For most of the time, she hides within the sword, therefore holds no reason to disguise herself.
She is more desperate than ever to stop the demon thief and protect Link.

Impa is a member of the mysterious race of Sheikah, a tribe that are seemingly the equivalent of ninjas. Many versions of her exist through time the same as Link, Zelda and Ganondorf, which can be rightfully assumed that she plays an important role in the life of the princess. She has always been drifted to protecting Zelda for all of her life, serving as either her bodyguard, her caretaker or her second in command. She is faithful and extremely hardened, her rough and intimidating exterior many times instilling an anxious urgency to get the job done. In the era of the Hero of Time, Impa was revealed to be the Sage of Shadow, fitting as the Sheikah tribe were known as the Shadow Folk.

Impa was one of the lead warriors in the fight against Ganondorf and his forces, and as soon as it was revealed that Link and Zelda were in danger, she was the first to take charge and break to the other side to protect Zelda. In this modern world, she wears a black leather jacket and pants, sunglasses to hide her red eyes, riding a motorcycle and wielding two shotguns.

Nabooru

Name: Nabooru
Zelda Title(s): Ocarina of Time
Affiliation: Anti-Hero
Role: Side Character
Alternate Names: The Exalted, Sage of Spirit
Location: Gerudo Desert
Race: Gerudo
Occupation: Thief, Warrior
Weapon(s): Double-Bladed Ax

The leader of the Gerudo people..
Nabooru once served as the second in command of Ganondorf, of whom had been born as the only male among the Gerudo tribe. At first, she greatly respected him and served him with great loyalty.
Until she began to witness him murder innocent people, especially women and children. It was here her loyalty began to falter and she began to see him as the beast he truly was.
While still appearing to be his faithful second in command not only to Ganondorf, but also the other Gerudo women, who themselves still served the demon thief, she began to run a rebellion against him, including stealing important artifacts from the Spirit Temple. Her plan was thwarted as Ganondorf's surrogate mothers, Kotake and Koume, discovered her betrayal and snatched her away.
Years after, Link returned to the Spirit Temple where he once met Nabooru and witnessed her disappearance at the hands of the witch sisters. Here, he battles an Iron Knuckle, which turns to actually be a brainwashed Nabooru in disguise. She soon awakens as the Sage of Spirit.

She has since led her people in a new direction and has allied with Princess Zelda's forces to combat against Ganondorf. She remains in Hyrule, to protect the land while the others hurry to find Link and Zelda. Ganondorf has since made advances to her to try and win her back, only for the sake of finding the hero and princess himself.

Ruto

Name: Ruto
Zelda Title(s): Ocarina of Time, Hyrule Warriors
Affiliation: Hero
Role: Side Character
Alternate Names: Princess Ruto, Sage of Water
Location: Zora Domain
Race: Zora
Occupation: Princess
Weapon(s): Zora Scale

The rebellious and restless daughter of the Zora King..
Princess Ruto has always had a significantly spoiled and entitled air about her ever since she was a child. When young Ruto was accidentally swallowed into the belly of Lord Jabu Jabu, she was soon rescued by the young Hero of Time, Link. As thanks for her rescue, she granted him the Zora's Sapphire, which Link innocently fails to realize this was her way of offering her own hand in marriage. Years passed before the Hero returned, and the now grown Ruto is under the impression they are to still be married. That is until she is revealed to be the Sage of Water.

Her attitude seemed to be owned by nothing short of a spoiled brat, but Ruto appeared to have toned down only a little when she discovered her true identity and recognized the responsibility she now had on her shoulders. She now follows the other allies of the Hero and is one of whom traveled to the modern world Link and Zelda had escaped to. She disguises as a scantily clad young woman with short blue-dyed hair and her same dangling diamond earrings.

Occupation: Tribe Leader, Warrior
Weapon(s): Hammer

The strong and good-hearted chief of the Gorons..
Darunia serves as the leader of the Goron people, whom live within Death Mountain. Like his people, he is big and brawny, but has a surprisingly caring and good-natured side that makes them valuable allies to the other races of Hyrule. But Darunia still remains hot tempered and can easily lose his composure if something is not going the way he likes. He is a fierce warrior, himself descending from the same hero who took on Volvagia in the past, and attempted to take on the dragon on his own, only to realize that he is the Sage of Fire. He has a son, whom he named Link after the famous hero that helped and saved their people, and has a love for music, particularly Saria's Song.

Darunia led the Goron tribe to help defend Zelda's kingdom to no avail, as it regardless fell victim to the demon king's control. He and the other allies held a resistance within Hyrule's safe places to combat against Ganondorf's forces until they started to disappear. The allies departed to the dimension Link and Zelda escaped to, where Darunia took charge protecting the others like a giant bodyguard and uses his immense strength and power to take out the growing number of Ganon's followers that have snuck within the modern world of the humans. He appears as a tall, powerful and muscular man with a great beard and build and dresses in stretched out ripped t-shirts and trousers that barely fit the hulking Goron in disguise. He bears the Goron Ruby's image as a tattoo on one of his arms.

Princess Midna

Zelda Title(s): Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors

The ruler of the Twilight Realm..
Midna is the princess of the Twili, whose kingdom was taken over by Zant, her former servant.
The usurper king banished her from her homeworld, cursing her into a strange imp form from her formally beautiful appearance. She wandered the twilight-casted Hyrule where she witnessed Link's transformation into a wolf and apprehension by the Shadow Beasts. There, she devised a scheme to use him in order to get back her control in the Twilight Realm, not necessarily caring what happens to him or not. She is mischievous, cunning, somewhat sinister and quick to make sarcastic remarks.
Throughout her life, she held her own agenda and had little care for the people of other races, notably the ones in the realm of light. That is until she developed a close friendship with Link and was touched by the sacrifice of Princess Zelda, that swayed her feelings and her behavior soon turned for the better.

With Zant and Ganondorf's defeat, her original form was restored and she seemingly closed the gate that connected the realm of light and the Twilight Realm. But since the Sheikah discovered a new gate that connects all the timelines and realms together, Midna has resurfaced and reconnected with Link and Zelda. She is one of the few who remained in Hyrule to protect the remaining parts of the land against Ganondorf's forces. But when his minions steadily started to vanish, she and the others realized that they had found the hero and princess. She quickly flocked with the select few that traveled to their location and hides out in disguise inside the city. Her disguise is short in appearance, donning short black hair, headphones, black punk styled clothing and rides around on a skateboard.

She is the descendant of Hylia herself, and is one of the chosen wielders of the Triforce, being granted the power of immense wisdom. She is beautiful and always makes calculated and just decisions regarding her kingdom, the safety of her people the most important thing to her. Her kindness and good nature makes her extremely beloved by all of Hyrule, but her many times gentle persona makes her an easy target for the evil servants of Ganon.

Ganon's most recent attack has forced her and her trusted friend and hero, Link, to escape to another dimension, where they believe they will safely keep the power of the Triforce away from their foe, until they can find the strength to fight back. In this world, she wears various sweaters, skirts and knee-high boots, including her favorite beret. Her Triforce was transferred to a necklace by the Great Fairy's power. Such as in their own world, Zelda stays closely by Link's side.

Link

Affiliation: Hero
Role: Main Character
Alternate Names: Hero of Time, Hero of Winds, Legendary Hero, Divine Beast
Location: Hyrule
Race: Hylian
Occupation: Knight, Warrior
Weapon(s): Master Sword, Dungeon Items

The hero chosen to protect Hyrule..
just as Ganondorf and Zelda have been reborn from generation to generation, so has the hero Link. Brave, valiant and good natured, Link has never run away from a fight and never turns down the opportunity to help those in need. Link, over the ages, has fought countless monsters, including the accursed Ganon, whom will stop at nothing to destroy him and everything he loves. The many Links reborn have been entrusted to save and protect Hyrule, especially Princess Zelda, whom he shares a strong bond with, and he is one of the chosen wielders of the Triforce, granted the power of courage. Along the way on his adventures, he has made many friends and allies now loyal to the kingdom. Since the Sheikah tribe discovered a way to connect the timelines of each of his versions through the use of a gateway, he has discovered the various Links, Zeldas and their allies, all of whom have been working together on a way to defeat Ganondorf once and for all.

Forming a close relationship with the princess Zelda, Link has escaped Hyrule to the strange new land we call home, in a not so distant future that is nothing but witchcraft to the two outlanders.
Link has adopted a green hooded sweatshirt in place of his tunic with a more human appearance thanks to the Great Fairy's power, his Master Sword cloaked as a bat. His Triforce is transferred to a ring, also courtesy of the Great Fairy. Him and the princess struggle to conform to the modern society around them, trying as they might to assimilate to their now human disguise, until they can work out a plan to come back against Ganondorf.
